With tickets flying out the door for the Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I’s regional and Perth shows, it came to their attention that some folks weren’t happy. “Why should Narrabi and Wagga Wagga have all the fun?” they said “What about poor old Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide?”

Well OK then you ask for it and you get it!

Both bands will not only play those cities, but to sweeten the deal they’ve invited some mates to join in the fun.

2017’s edition of the successful A Fist Full Of Rock tour features the biggest line-up yet and unites the Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I, fresh from a run of sell out shows around the country, with their old mates Jebediah and Adalita.

Needing no introduction, The Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I have been sharing stages for the last 25 years from New York to Nambucca Heads, and boast nineteen acclaimed studio albums between them, most of which reached the upper echelons of the charts and went gold or platinum.

20 years on from the release of their blistering debut album, Jebediah bring their roaring riffs and soaring pop hooks to the line-up - promising us they still like to crank up the volume and rock! As does the final addition to the bill, solo artist, singer of seminal band Magic Dirt, and one of Australia’s most respected and influential artists for nearly two decades, Indie Rock Icon Adalita.

So, you get the combined rock and roll might of the Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I plus the energy and hooks of the Jebs, and the super-soul-power of Adalita.

Happy now, city folk?

Line Up

Perth four-piece Jebediah have remained the ultimate crowd pleasers playing festivals and special one off gigs throughout the years. In 2015 the band celebrated their twentieth anniversary with ‘TWENTY’ – the biggest tour the band had undertaken in some time with a double album of their greatest hits and national sell-out tour.

It's impossible for an Australian of a certain vintage to imagine those late '90s summers without those delirious early Jebs singles — ‘Jerks of Attention’, ‘Leaving Home’, ‘Teflon’, ‘Harpoon’, ‘Animal’ — blasting out of every car radio and festival PA from Summersault to the Falls to Homebake.

Kevin Mitchell, Chris Daymond, Vanessa Thornton and Brett Mitchell were mostly teenagers when they set out: brothers and best mates from some far-flung Perth high school who'd accidentally stumbled into the first division of the global rock'n'roll perpetual and given it a cheeky kick up the arse while running rings around it with guitars in the air. In 2017 nothing much has changed JEBEDIAH still present a live performance with gusto and gratitude.

The secret to JEBEDIAH’s longevity is simple, a long lasting friendship in which the chemistry remains and the desire to crank it big time, each and every time they hit the stage.
