PRODUCER / MIXER / ENGINEER / WRITER
Melbourne based, WAAPA Sound Design graduate Anna Laverty cut her teeth at London’s Miloco Studios as an engineer alongside multi-award winning producers Paul Epworth (Adele) and Ben Hillier (Blur), working on records for Florence & The Machine, Depeche Mode and Bloc Party amongst others.
With an ever increasing list of credits to her name, some notable projects Anna’s been behind the desk for in the last few years include the critically acclaimed Peep Tempel album Tales, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds’ Push The Sky Away, Cut Copy’s Free Your Mind and Ruby Boots’ Solitude.
Comfortable working across the breadth of genres has recently seen Anna produce the soon to be released debut albums for Melbourne bands Voltaire Twins and Warmth Crashes In, a new song for Courtney Barnett and the much lauded single Serasan Shakes from indie electro outfit Youngs.
When not in a studio Anna can often be found touring the nation as a mentor in the hugely beneficial APRA/AMCOS contemporary music programme Songmakers.
Catherine Haridy Management is proud to represent the very talented Anna Laverty and we welcome all expressions of interest in having Anna contribute to your next recording.
